Once upon a time...
The project began during COVID lockdown when co-founder Danny Kane became much more aware of Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) especially as he had an 18 month old who was struggling with respiratory issues.

As a director of Filament PD, a design and engineering innovation agency - it was a lightning bolt moment when he thought he could combine his expertise in product design and development with a personal motivation to help people understand the risks of poor IAQ and enable them with the technology to improve their home environment.

After onboarding fellow founders and design services business owners Craig Easdale (Orvio: IoT and Electronics) and Stefan Raue (Arceptive: Data Science and Software) the founding nooku team was born.

A couple of years later...
We are ready to introduce nooku to the world. Now with its own dedicated team and office space in Glasgow, Danny's idea has become reality.
